To remove all traces of the Office installation download the fixit from the following article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

saving it to your computer and then run it.

Then reinstall Office by logging into www.office.com/myaccountwith your registered email address and click Install Office.

How do I do that?  I too have a Dell...I can't find the Office 365 or older ones I have, How do I locate it? Thanks for your response!  I've used the Fixit and it only takes out the Office 2013 no others.  and when I do a search I can't find any other program that's office...

    Hi,

Microsoft is investigating an issue with online repair resulting in error 30029-4. We will update status soon on this. Meanwhile use the quick repair option. If still unresolved, use the uninstall fixit,  then reinstall from the Office My Account page.

I just went through this with Dell. It turns out I still had the free Office 365 (Free trial) in my machine and had also loaded Windows 2013. The removed Office 365. That seems to have done the trick.
