    Hi Aravinda

I have tried to uninstall and to install again office 2013 on my Win 7 but this error appears again while wanting to repair it online. I got issues while opening Word (Word will not respond anymore). Excel, Access and Powerpoint is working...! If I open an existing word file word is not hanging anymore but when I try to create a new Word out of the menu word is not responding anymore..

    Hi All,

Let me help you with the issue.

Since you are unable to create a new Word document, please follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the following article and check if it helps:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541/en-us

Also follow the steps mentioned in the following link and check if you can launch the Word and Excel applications:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/why-cant-i-start-my-office-2013-application-HA104011864.aspx

    Thank you.

That's not a very helpful response from Microsoft.  If they can't support a new installation of their product, then I guess they're not interested in selling the product.  So, perhaps I'll cancel my subscription and go back to my old version of MS Office 2010 until I get a new computer.  But, Robin, I did read that if you uninstall your Abbey FineReader, it might clear up the problem.  I'm going to try that next!

I'm having this issue as well. Contacted the Support desk and they say I have to PAY extra to get this sort of thing fixed. If all of us are having the same problem, it should not have to be a one-by-one solution. Please help!
