Hi

I am just begin to learn Azure. My Portal Directory is set: Default

So Switching directories will reload the portal.

The directory you choose will impact the subscription, resource group, and region filters that are available in the portal.

So how can I switch to another directory in order to create Web App - Thanks

    @Hoai Pham

    Thank you for your post and I apologize for the delayed response!

    I understand that you're just beginning to learn Azure and would like to know how to switch to another Directory in order to create a Web App.

    When switching directories, you're essentially moving from one Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant (directory) to another. Within this Directory, in order to create a Web App, you'll have to first sign-up for an Azure Subscription which will be used to deploy your Azure resources (i.e. Web App, VMs, Storage, Networking, etc.). Once you have an Active Azure Subscription, you can then follow the Create a static HTML web app in Azure tutorial to get started.User's image

    If you already have an Azure subscription and are just looking to switch to that directory, you can do so in the upper-right hand corner as mentioned by Andy. For more info - Switch and manage directories.

    I hope this helps!
