Remote server returned '550 5.7.520 Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam. AS(4810)' Today i have received an email returned as spam. This was from an addressee who I correspond mostly, being a family member and I was sending them an important document. Both of these are Microsoft accounts (Hotmail and Outlook), both accounts are listed under my family 365 account, both using Microsoft Outlook and no other system for sending and receiving emails. Can you tell me why this is the case and how I am able to stop this in the future?

I just exported (saved) my PDF file as a JPG and I can send that format without getting the error message!

    Tested again,

    1. login www.hotmail.com to send emails with PDF attached file.

    result: undeliverable, errors:

Remote server returned '550 5.7.520 Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam. AS(4810)'

    1. Used "Windows Mail" Apps to send the emails with attached PDF files. it went through!

I just have the same problem. If I send an e-mail without attachement, it works, if the mail contains PDF attachements, it is blocked. VERY ANNOYING.

The mail is sent normally with a jpg attachement.

I was able to send a PDF file after including it as a ZIP file with WINZIP.

This could be a workaround while waiting for Microsoft to deign to search and find a solution.

I have the same issue with sending PDF attachments. I opened service support ticket for M365 for family subscription this early afternoon. I had a call in some minute from tech support, but that support guy told me, he is not able to hear me and hang out the call. Currently i am not able to sign in that support portal to review my opened ticket. I noticed that their web pages sometimes don't work as well. Sometimes i have some error as you don't have a permission when I want to visit some support page or MS main page. I think the rollup some update to non-business customer, and I hope they are working on fix.
