The Organization Chart tab does not load for M365 users. (Outlook build 16130.20306)

A client recently updated their outlook application to client build 16130.20306 and has been unable to view their organizational chart since. This has been an issue for most M365 users of which he is one and it doesn't seem to be an issue in the web client. Steps I tried:

  1. Attempted M365 online repair.
  2. Cleared Outlook cache.

None of the steps helped in remediating this issue.

    Hi @Moshiur (Moshiur Khan) ,

Noticed that the version you are using is not the latest, it is recommended that you update Outlook (File >Office Account > Update Options > Update Now) to the latest version to see if it is fixed in the new version: Update history for Microsoft 365 Apps (listed by date)
If you have any further updates on this issue, please feel free to post back.

    Hi @Moshiur (Moshiur Khan) ,

Have you recently updated the user profile from SharePoint Admin center? Generally, it is recommended to update “Manager” information from Azure admin center > Users rather than the user profile from SharePoint admin center, as the profile information is one way sync from Azure to SharePoint User Profile. If you made change in SharePoint User Profile, it won’t sync to Azure user. In this case, I suggest you can go Azure Active Directory admin center > Users > Select the user > check whether the Manger field under Job Information section is fulfilled correctly.
    Capture

Besides, you can try updating the oab and see if it works: Go to Send/ Receive > Send/Receive Groups > Download Address Book.
If there is any update, please let me know.

Updating this QA as I am yet to hear from Faery regarding whether the solution is a short term risk for vulnerabilities, but the link provided:
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/contact-card-not-showing-organization-and/fa27985e-f702-4648-8a0a-0cfda38b0ede

A rough summary comes to rolling back the desktop update to a version where the Organization Card is available, which I do not believe to be a proper solution as the latest desktop updates are to mitigate any vulnerabilities and improve performance.
As per the latest update released 25th April, I will be watching if the issue is resolved.

Please note this is only an issue shown in the Click-2-Run version.

Hopefully we approach a better solution,
    ~Cheers

    -Moshiur
