Can M365 F3 license mailbox be configured with Outlook perpetual desktop client license. We understand Office cannot be activated with F3, but what if Office 2019/16 perpetual device based client installation is already done, can F3 mailbox be configured with the same. We know E1 could work with it.

    Hi @GoodResource ,

Microsoft 365 F plans don't support using Outlook to access mail in Exchange Online through an Exchange connection.

To work around, you can set up Outlook to access mail in Exchange Online through a Post Office Protocol (POP3) connection. Please see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/outlook-issues/encrypted-connection-unavailable

You can, but this will still not allow you to use it like a "regular" mailbox, as there are server-side restrictions (i.e. blocked protocols).
