Hi,
I created an Azure account long time ago for some tests, even creating 2 users. Now I am trying to create an Azure AD B2C Tenant, but I receive a "lack of permissions message"

When I try to change settings at "Azure Active Directory -> User permissions" everything is disabled ( for me ). BUT, I am the main e-mail, responsibe for creating the account ?

It looks like this is a "Corporate or Student account", but I don't know why ? I have other Azure accounts based on "Personal accounts" that show me the "User permissions" and allow me to create "AAD B2C".

So, I gues the problem is related to a "Corparate or Student account". I connected to http://myaccount.microsoft.com and the account ( "******@siegmar.com.br" ) is tied to the "siegmar.com.br" Organzation and I am no t allowed to leave. BUT, I did not create this Organization. How do I remove this account from organization.

How can I solve this problem ?

Thanks

    @Siegmar Gieseler

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A. From above description I a could conclude that you have 2 issues:

    • Unable to create new Azure AD B2C tenant.
    • Unable to delete/remove/leave siegmar.com.br directory from the tenant.

    Please do correct me if this is not the case by responding in the comments section.

    Unable to create new Azure AD B2C tenant.

    You need to have the following prerequisites met:

    • An Azure subscription. If you don't have one, create a free account before you begin.
    • An Azure account that's been assigned at least the Contributor role within the subscription or a resource group within the subscription is required.
    • If you're unable to create Azure AD B2C tenant, review your user settings page to ensure that tenant creation isn't switched off. If tenant creation is switched on, ask your Global Administrator to assign you a Tenant Creator role.
    • If you are unable perform above actions then please validate of you are logged into correct directory and switch to correct directory by navigating to https://portal.azure.com/#settings/directory

    Unable to delete/remove/leave siegmar.com.br directory from the tenant.

    As mentioned by you account ******@siegmar.com.br is tied to siegmar.com.br, then this is expected and you could not leave/remove a home organization with a base account. You could only delete the account from its home organization and it could not be used anywhere else as all the authentication for this account would be done by the home directory.
