Migrating PostGres Databases Between Instances Using Database Migration Services

I am attempting to use the Azure database migration services, but I am experiencing issues when creating the project. I cannot really find the documentation I am looking for or I missed when reviewing the documentation that I found.

I found a workaround in the migration service. You can close this ticket.

@Bradley Soverns Are you talking about logical backups that you take on flex or managed service backups? You cannot move managed service backups as no one has access to them except Microsoft, If it is a logical backup then all best practices that are applicable for moving files to blob will apply here

No, we have two Postgres instances. An older model and a newer model. We want to move the databases from the old instance over to the new instance. We were going to try to back the databases up; then restore them. To save time I opened the ticket to see if a technician can move the databases for us.
