I understand that you have lost some emails in your Outlook 2016 client, here are some possible ways to restore your emails:
You can try to use the Recover Deleted Items From Server feature, which can help you find and restore your emails that have been removed from the Deleted Items folder. You can follow these steps:
- In Outlook, select Deleted Items.
- On the Home tab, select Recover Deleted Items From Server.
- Select the items that you want to recover, select Restore Selected Items, and then select OK.
You can try to recreate your Outlook profile and set up your email account in the new profile. This may solve some problems caused by a corrupted profile. You can follow these steps:
- Close Outlook and open Control Panel.
- In Control Panel, select User Accounts, and then select Mail.
- In the pop-up window, select Show Profiles.
- In the profile list, select the profile that you are currently using, and then select Remove.
