red hat 9.2 issue OMS agent for linux

I am currently installing the OMS agent on an on-premises SYSLOG VM to forward logs from the firewall to Microsoft Sentinel. However, during the installation, I encountered an error, and the agent isn't installed.

Is there any resolution to this problem? If I am going to use Azure Arc, is the AMA agent supported by RED HAT 9.2, or should I downgrade the server to version 9.00 or 8 to tackle this problem? The same question applies if I will use the OMS agent.

    Hi Riadh,

    You shouldn't have to go lower than 9.0.

    Microsoft supports RHEL 9 for AMA/Arc.

    9.2 is questionable, since there's no documentation on that yet.

    I downgraded the OS to RHEL 8 and it worked for me .
