Why is there no metrics showing Data Estate Insights page in Purview even though data catalog is populated?

Microsoft fabric has been registered as a source and a scan has been conducted. Currently 500+ assets in the data catalog but nothing is showing in the Data Estate Insights page. Is this some feature that needs to be activated from within the Azure environment when setting up the tool?

Can you please confirm if you met the below prerequisites for the Purview Data Estate Insights

Prerequisites

Before getting started with Microsoft Purview Data Estate Insights, make sure that you've completed the following steps:

Set up a storage resource and populated the account with data.

Set up and complete a scan of your storage source.

For more information to create and complete a scan, see the manage data sources in Microsoft Purview article.

And can you please make sure the data estate insights are turned on?

Hi and thank you.

We tried swithing between the new portal and the classic portal with no metrics showing in any of them.

We had set up and runned a full scan of a Fabric source, so the catalog was populated.

Now it is working, it seems that we had to wait for the report to be generated which took some time.

Issue:

Metrics are not showing on the Data Estate Insights page in Purview even though the data catalog is populated

Solution:

The generation of reports took some time to complete, so the metrics didn't show immediately(If there is a large amount of data to process)
