Sign in to Mac with Azure AD credentials

Hi All,

Is there any option to sign in Mac using Azure ad credentials rather than local accounts. We are using Google workspace as our IDP and Google provides secure ldap service to connect with Mac and login with Google credentials.

I have federated our Google workspace as IDP with Azure AD as SP and added the Custom domain, now all my Google users available in Azure Domain as well but I would like to know is there any option to connect Mac with Azure AD domain, so that our employees can login with Google credentials.

Based on my researching, I find Azure AD does not support direct integration with macOS for authentication. However, you can use third-party solutions to achieve this. One such solution is to use a tool like NoMAD or Jamf Connect to enable users to sign in to their Macs using their Azure AD credentials. These tools provide a single sign-on experience for macOS users and can be configured to work with Azure AD.

But as Intune support, I am not familiar with this. To get more help, I have added both "Azure Active Directory" and "Microsoft Entra" tags to see if AAD support will be added into to help on this. Or you can open a new thread with the two tags to see if you can find the support.
