Hi

I have windows server 2016 with 100 network printers, in the last week printspooler service crashed a 3-4 time per day.

EventViewer show about 7031 and 7034 ID

I have been tried to check here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue, and i have seen that reports show about PnPDriverImportError

Here the log:

    @Bar076

Did you find a resolution to this issue or did you locate the hdmp files?

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue is the place to look.

Look in folders with the spoolsv.exe in the name

I can debug them if you have them.

    Thanks

    Good Day Collegues

I have same error on Windows 2019 10.0.17763 Build 17763

The Print Spooler service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 30 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 5000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

    Any advise on the issue

    Hello colleagues,

we're having a similar issue on a WINSERV 2016 1607 (14393.5125), with intermittent crashes of the spooler service. We've contacted the printer manufacturer, and they were unable to corroborate any known issues with drivers. We did however reinstall the drivers. It helped a little.

I think I found the solution. I had this issue where the Server 2019 spooler service would stop multiple times per day & randaomly. I tried different Konica Minolta Drivers (Universal PCL6, PCL6, Post Script etc.) but no success.

    Faulting application name: spoolsv.exe
    Faulting module name: wsnmp32.dll

    Go to print management
    Printers
Right click your printer and select properties
    Ports
    Configure Port
    Disable "SNMP Status Enabled"

    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\wsnmp32.dll
You can disable the snmp of the driver, and the consequence is that you cannot get any information about the multifunction machine, including the model of the multifunction machine.
    Inside the print-driven little world
Based on PS, PCL drivers need to use SNMP to obtain information
Canon UFRII-based drivers can abandon SNMP and use proprietary protocols to obtain machine information (some of my customers require SNMP to be turned off, and I have verified that Canon devices can turn off SNMP)
