"Your organization needs more information to keep your account secure" stuck

After logging in to my portal.azure.com account, I am prompted with the message "Your organization needs more information to keep your account secure" with one option "Next." This as the same issue as described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1121908/your-organization-needs-more-information-to-keep-y

However, I do not have a second account that I can get into to use the workaround described in that post. I only have one account, which I cannot get into now. I am attempting to get access to the account so I can disabled the running services so that I will not be billed anymore for them.

Does anyone know what I can do about this? I tried calling the support number but it directed me here...

@iqimpztesting1 Thank you for reaching out to us, As I understand you are in authentication loop/got stuck while authenticating to the Entra ID/Azure AD Portal.

This happens because of the security defaults enabled on your tenant, more details on what is security defaults can be found here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/fundamentals/security-defaults#enabling-security-defaults:~:text=Security%20defaults%20in%20Microsoft%20Entra%20ID

To come out of this issue, you need to contact our support team - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 where they will create a support request route the request to Data Protection team, once they validate your details, further case will be collaborated with Identity team to unblock your account from Security defaults.

Once the support ticket is created, do share it here for tracking purpose, so that i can check internally to get this issue resolved at earliest for you.

Let me know if you have any further questions, feel free to post back.
