Migrating Existing laptops from jumpcloud to intune

Hi Everyone,

we have started deploying new laptops through Intune (endpoint manager), but I need some guidance about existing laptops that have been deployed in the past. we have already assigned the appropriate license to the target group (Microsoft E5).

what is the current situation: We have everyone's email and password through Microsoft which is synced with jumpcloud. on the existing laptops, jumpcloud agent is installed so that we define the people who can log in to that laptop through jumpcloud admin console, this way jumpcloud manages the local users and syncs it will jumpcloud admin.

what will be the future situation: we'll eliminate jumpcloud, and will need to enroll all the existing laptops to intne. probably we need the best practice to remove the jumpcloud agent and enroll the devices to intune automatically because the number of laptops is more than 200, or we need to know what will be the best practice in this situation? any suggestion is appreciated.

@Reza Rahman, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From the information you provided, I know you want to migrate from jumpcloud to Intune. For the devices, they need to be unenrolled from jumpcloud before enroll into Intune. Here is a link list the steps to do the migration. You can read it as a reference:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/deployment-guide-intune-setup#currently-use-a-third-party-mdm-provider

To enroll windows devices into Intune, there are many methods. Different method for different scenario. You can read the following link to choose one enrollment method to do the enrollment:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/deployment-guide-enroll?tabs=work-profile%2Ccorporate-owned-apple%2Cautomatic-enrollment#windows-enrollment-methods

Hope the above information can help.
