According to my research, a possible cause of this is that you have text suggestions turned on in Windows.
To turn off the text suggestions:
Press Windows logo key+I to open the Windows settings.
Select Time & language > Typing.
Click the toggle button next to the Show text suggestions while typing on physical keyboard option.
