I had a similar problem with an old Lenovo Miix 300-10IBY. The touchscreen worked in recovery and BIOS/UEFI but not in Windows. Also, the touchscreen, battery, sound and some HIDs were missing from Device Manager. The gyro's weren't working either along with a few other bits and pieces.

In my case, it was the Intel® Processor I/O Controller Driver for Windows 8.1* for Intel® NUC which can be found at the link below. I know it's for Windows 8.1 rather than 10 but after a reboot, everything came back for me.

I had a slight issue with the touchscreen 90° offset which needed to be fixed in the registry but this brought everything back. The file can be found here - Intel-Processor-I-O-Controller-Driver-for-Windows-8-1-for-Intel-NUC

    Hope this helps!!

    Hi,
Few methods may helpful to troubleshoot this issue.
1.After open Device Manager, under Human Interface Devices section find HID-compliant touch screen. Right click it disable and then re-enable.
2.Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > launch the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. Check if it could fix.
3.According to your machine model, go to lenovo's official website to download Touch Screen Driver to reinstall.
    4. Is this a new problem recently? Check for update if some security updates need to be installed. This could update Windows OS version and system files.
5.Contact Lenovo support to test if it is related to hardware.
Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
    Best Regards,
    Carl

    Related Microsoft reference:

What to try if your touchscreen doesn't work

    Open Device Manager.

Find the Touch screen driver under Mice and Other Pointing Devices > USB Touchscreen Controller.

Uninstall the driver and check the Delete the driver software for this device box. Restart the computer.

If the feature is still not back, open Device Manager -> Human Interface Devices. Right-click HID compliant touch screen, then uninstall. When you restart the PC, it will reinstall.

If you cannot locate a USB Touchscreen Controller(A111), look for a USB Root Hub (xHCI) option under USB Controllers or Universal Serial Bus. If labeled as disabled (a faded or lighter shade of gray), then right-click the option and select enable. Check to see if that brings the touch screen back.

If the previous steps do not work, contact Lenovo service center for further assistance and diagnosis.

I had that problem to. My solution was a SFC scan. I don't know how long this works, since I have done it recently but there are more possible fixes for that. (Refer to link below)

To run a SFC scan do as follows:

    1. Open CMD (just typing in Windows search bar) and run it as admin.
    2. Type: "SFC/scannow"
    3. Restart your PC
What this does is, it removes and repairs broken registry-keys and creates a log of what it has done (maybe useful for tech support) in "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS".

If this doesn't work, maybe take a look at:

Let me know if you had success.
