MY LENOVO LAPTOP TOUCH SCREEN IS NOT WORKING.

Hello there, I'm facing a problem with my laptop touch screen I have been trying to fix it but I couldn't.. when searched on google for answers it showed me that I have to go to device manager in control panel then choose human interface devices. but when I click on touch screen It shows me that the device is working, but in fact it's not working at all! I hope you can help me solve this problem

Whenever we have a problem, there are two possibilities of problems - hardware & software.

1. SOFTWARE PROBLEM Open device manager & navigate to the driver related to touch screen.
   Then first try troubleshooting the driver.
   Then update driver and try using your touch screen once.
   This should be able to fix it, if doesn't then please try to roll back the driver.
   Next is to run sfc /scannow command. Simply type 'sfc /scannow' in search and execute this command as Admin.
2. HARDWARE PROBLEM
   We can do nothing by ourselves for a hardware problem. Please take the laptop to Lenovo service center for possible repairs.

I fixed it!! This all helped though. i went to device manager and i saw a Wacom human interface device with a ?. I tried to update the driver automatically, no worky. I did the manual update and the touchscreen started working!!!
