I am a home user. I bought my laptop with windows home installed and I have never bought any 365 or anything from Microsoft, now I get this message and I do not understand it at all or if it is a scam. It does seem a scam to me cuz I have never received anything like this. I just use my laptop for personal home use and have never installed or bought any packages or whatever they sell at Microsoft.

Can anybody give me any info about this email? Or does anybody know how to get in touch with Microsoft whether in spain or international Microsoft? I do not even know how to write this email when it asks that I select a tag I have no idea which to pick, to me it all sounds like a totally different language.

Complete a purchase by June 22, 2025 to keep your account active

You are receiving this email because your associated Microsoft Entra ID tenant (tenant ID 1c999a2a-f5a5-40ef-be6e-49623e53296b) has been inactive for more than 200 days. Required action: To continue using your tenant, make a purchase before June 22, 2025. If you don’t make a purchase before this date, your next purchase with Microsoft will require a new Microsoft Entra ID tenant to continue using Microsoft services.

    Dear @Anna Gonzalez Fernandez

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your inquiry, we understand that you have received an announcement about purchasing your Microsoft account to active your Entra ID tenants in your personal laptop and you have not purchased for any Microsoft services before. We will be glad to assist you in this part.
This email is normally sent to valued Microsoft customers who have previously used our services, informing them that their Entra ID tenant has been inactive for over 200 days. To prevent the tenant from being deleted, they are required to make a payment Microsoft service.

You should follow the steps below to verify the email you received and contact Microsoft Support to ensure whether any personal information may have been compromised or not.

    1. Check the Sender’s Email Address
    • If the email is from a suspicious or unofficial domain, it may be fraudulent.
    • Genuine emails from Microsoft usually come from @microsoft.com addresses.
    1. Contact Microsoft Support
    • Reach out to Microsoft Support directly rather than clicking any links in the email.

As QA forum s, we don’t have access to the detailed logs or backend systems due to privacy and security constraints, but Microsoft technical support team can confirm whether the request is valid. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn (In Spain).

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
