Hi,

As of a recent MS teams update, it appears that it's not longer possible to invoke apps compose extension from the "plus" icon. This was possible until recently, and it breaks the existing workflow that a lot of our customers use (receiving inbound messages and sending from bot chat)

The apps are still show in channels/teams correctly.

After checking with the Teams Review/Submission team, they requested we post the issue here.

    Hi Evan Ticehurst

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your usual workflow, such as the touchSMS integration within Microsoft Teams, isn't functioning as expected. Let's work together to resolve this.

According to the touchSMS support documentation Microsoft Teams – Support | touchSMS, after successfully registering your touchSMS account, it's essential to add touchSMS as a tab within your Teams channel to send and receive SMS messages. Additionally, before sending SMS from the chat thread of any collaborative team, ensure that you've enabled the touchSMS tab in that area. This step is crucial, as it allows you to manage inbound and outbound message in Teams chat.

If you wish to connect the touchSMS app for multiple Teams profiles using one touchSMS account, you should repeat the configuration process for each Teams profile.

I recommend revisiting the touchSMS documentation to double-check your configuration between touchSMS and Microsoft Teams. This step should assist in pinpointing any inconsistencies and restoring your workflow to its optimal performance.
