Process1_Initialization_Failed Error During Rollback from Windows 11 back to 10

I'm attempting to Rollback to Windows 10 from Windows 11 preview. When I attempt to, however, I get the "Black Screen of Death" and the error: PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED. How can I resolve this?

Update, I accidentally marked this inquiry as resolved. Its not. I selected answered accidentally. Lets continue to troubleshoot and share until we fix this rollback/reset garbage.

Sorry about that. I marked it as answered at 4am I believe accidentally. It had been a rather a long day/night of trying to troubleshoot and I was rather exhausted.

    Hi Sibro,

I found an easier way to fix the security problem, just issuing the command below from elevated P.S. fixed it.

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage

I've filed a report and chatted with two agents yesterday morning. I've Googled, I've watched youtube videos and I've posted here. A fruitless effort to say the least. I selected Beta and not Dev for a reason. I'm just a regular guy who can normally make his way around computers. When we dive into the technical, however, quite frankly I'm screwed. I got my laptop in March, maintained it well, and ensured that I kept up with updates. Now I find myself stuck with this broken version of an operating system. Windows Security features are inaccessible, I can't roll back to Windows 10 or reset without that black screen of death. appearing. I'm absolutely exhausted. In the morning, I'll reach out to customer service on my work computer, so that I can troubleshoot, restart, reboot whatever with the agent available to guide me. I'm not leaving the customer service chat, without a resolution. I understood when I installed this **** that there might be bugs, but darn. This close to release, and I can't roll back an update? After I get this **** resolved, I'm getting a MacBook.

I did a factory reset on my pc first so I used windows 10 21H1, then I later upgraded to windows 11 so its 21H1 19043.1151 directly to 22000.120 or windows 10 to windows 11 I did and this is my second day using windows 11 and I can find a way to rollback to windows 10.

I have the same thing as you even when performing factory reset, advanced startup, anything.... wont work and says the same thing

    Hi,

Was your an update from 22000.100 to 22000.120 or a direct update from Windows 10 to 22000.120 ?

In my case I did not see this problem on machines updated from 22000.100 to 22000.120, only got this bug on clean installs of 22000.120 or updates from 21H1 19043.1151 directly to 22000.120.
