OK, I just report this bug via the help & feedback as your advice, hope anyone could help me remove those accounts and I don't want to use any of them to sync tags or something else between devices.

Hello Microsoft Support Community,
I found there are some "cached" email accounts are still listing under Microsoft Edge Browser Profile > Choose an account.
These accounts are old profiles which I signed in before, however I already removed these profiles several times ( there is no signed in profiles now), and also checked Windows Control Panel > User account, no related accounts there.
And I've double checked if these accounts are signed in Office 365 Client, but none of them singed in in my computer. I tried to find them via my computer settings > Work and School accounts, even I tried to check if they are cached from Office registry Identity, however I cannot find them.
May I know how should I remove them? Please advise, any help would be appreciated !
Ps: I am using windows 11 and the latest version of Microsoft Edge !

Oliver, I'll notify Edge Developers now. Hopefully they will get back to you soon.
Keep me posted here on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.
Some old accounts were Office 365 accounts and the domains were already removed, so I cannot sign in them to tick the option you shared above, however, I tried one of them which I could login, but after removing the profile again, this account is still listing as before, no luck on it.
I am afraid I cannot totally remove them......
On this specific account Instead of clicking Sign Out and clearing data. What happens when you click the ellipsis(..) to the left of the Sign Out button and select remove?
I even tried to sign in that account again with a new profile, and then clear all the generated data, histories and so on, after that I tried to sign out or remove the new active profile, however even these, the hated account is still listing there and other old ones persists .....
Okay, thanks for testing. If you click on the ellipsis(...) top right. Do you see "Managed by your organization" at the bottom of the flyout?
