I swapped to Firefox and used their built-in JSON viewer.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have been using Edge to view JSON data since I hate the layout of using Pretty-print. For some reason randomly now, when I view JSON in edge, I am getting Pretty-print instead of Edge's default custom JSON viewer. I don't think I did anything, I just randomly opened a JSON file with edge and now am getting Pretty-print viewer which I hate. Any suggestions on how to get Edge's json viewer back?

Get "JSON Formatter Plus" from the Microsoft store.
Hi, Test Tester3
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Based on feedback from other users, it seems that the issue you encountered was caused by an update in a certain version of Edge.
It seems that the developers have not provided the corresponding options to change this setting.
If you prefer the old version of the JSON Viewer, you can try the following steps to roll back the Edge version. Additionally, you can provide feedback about this issue to the Edge developers using Alt+Shift+I, so they are aware of the problem you encountered.
Download Edge for Business (microsoft.com)

Please ensure all Edge processes are closed before entering this command. The command will install silently, and you will need to wait for a while. You can check the version number at this path. After rolling back, temporarily move the Edge Update folder to another path. If the old version works, do not move it back until the next update. Manually update Edge to see if the issue persists.

It's not recommended to do this though as that could bring security vulnerabilities that were fixed in recent versions.

Yeah, there json viewer is a lot more easier. I should just use Firefox then. I hate how Edge removed theirs as their old one was a lot easier to read and made it easier for developers.
