I have read through this thread. First of all, the Copilot app used should be Version 1.24112.133.0This is from MS Store and arrived/was released on 10 Jan. 2025.

If text is copied it will paste into the Copilot text messaging 'box' via Ctrl+V, not via Rt Clk.

One cannot C/P images. Those must use the Upload ImageThe above is in regard to (free) Copilot, not Copilot Pro. I cannot comment on Copilot Pro or differences it may have.

I cannot repro any inability to C/P text into the Copilot app.

    Cheers,
    Drew

Same problem. Impossible to right click in desktop but the browser version is fine. Also noticed the desktop app is a lot more buggy lately and there's been a few times it has sat for about 10 seconds doing nothing and I have had to restart the app. Frustrating!

What "problem"? There is no Rt Clk menu in the Copilot app; doesn't have it, doesn't use it.

Please, look back in this thread and read my previous ANSWERS.

As for the Copilot app being "buggy", I cannot comment... it is perfectly fine for me.

The statement "There is no Right Click (sic) menu in Copilot nor has there ever been one there. In other words, there is no Right Click (sic) menu "missing" in Copilot. It does not have one, in the first place." that you made is very inaccurate! I don't like using CTRL+C and V, I find it irritating when using a mouse. I have also been using Copilot since it came out so of course I would notice a loss of the right click copy and paste function. So, to be clear It used to be there, now it is not! That is unless somehow, I got warped here from a different multiverse and to that I would say that My universe's Copilot had the ability to right click copy and paste.

Is it the same version, now, as when you used it the Copilot app?

The info here in this thread is marked as "Answer" for good reason. The source is not a particular computer. Seems it's 'by design' and universal.

Instead (not condescension), use Copilot in Edge. Even the Edge 'sidebar' Copilot. C/P, Works in both. Hey, just a thought/suggestion.

    Cheers,
    Drew
