I have read through this thread. First of all, the Copilot app used should be Version 1.24112.133.0This is from MS Store and arrived/was released on 10 Jan. 2025.

If text is copied it will paste into the Copilot text messaging 'box' via Ctrl+V, not via Rt Clk.

One cannot C/P images. Those must use the Upload ImageThe above is in regard to (free) Copilot, not Copilot Pro. I cannot comment on Copilot Pro or differences it may have.

I cannot repro any inability to C/P text into the Copilot app.

    Cheers,
    Drew

I can count on one hand the amount of times that I have used the control key to copy and paste, so I would remember. I always use the mouse. You can continue to say it over and over again, but 100% the ability to use right click was there and now it is gone. For what I need it for, I can't even use the app now. I have to use the web version. Frustrating.

Was the last time before or after the Update of 10/1/25?

Have you asked MS Support about this, yet?

The reason I ask is I have. And not only is it correct that it is not in the current version, but it IS also not there "by design". It is supposed to not have it. Ni bug, nothing broken, no fix required in a future update. AND it is, also, correct that it WAS in the previous version, the PWA app. NOT NOW, not since the new version of the Copilot app was released 10/1/25.

Both things I have, already, said in this thread. You are referring to before last Friday. Now, it is the K/B shortcuts with the Copilot app or use Copilot in Edge.

Plus, as mentioned, my answer early in thread would not have been marked Answer, if the info therein was not accurate and valid.

This was, also, discussed and confirmed with Copilot itself prior to any helpful, (credible) input/response to this thread by the undersigned. And, again, the same scenario in conversation with a MS Copilot tech.

    Cheers,
    Drew

I love it when you pretend not to know and then answer a question with another question.

Here is something more from another source I had contacted, after the entries I had, already, put in this thread for everyone.

The Copilot app supports copying and pasting text using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V, but not via right-click.

However, there's a feature called "Circle to Copilot" in Microsoft Edge that allows you to right-click and circle an area of a web page or desktop to send that captured area to Copilot.

You can refer to the links below:
