Task Host Window

While shutting down, a message 'Task Host Window  is running background tasks' is being displayed.

I was asked to Force Shut Down or to close the process by clicking cancel.

I already tried Force Shut Down(Shut Down Anyway) and my PC behavior was adversely affected.

I've browsed many forums and no proper solution is available to this problem.

Hot fixes are made available for Windows 7 bot not for Windows 8.

I hope a solution and Thanks.

Uhm, I am not really sure just what (if anything), this site/page is good for, ... because I have yet to see anyone's problems fixed or solved on here?

Been trying to figure out a FIX for long running malicious scripts that knock out my Internet Explorer, usually in about 33 seconds flat! <> GRRRRRRRR!

Same problem with Windows 10 version 1703 which I downloaded within the past two weeks.  Please provide a solution that does not require programming mastery.  Is this a bug in the new version that Microsoft can fix with an update?  I have not previously had this problem with earlier versions of either Windows 7 or Windows 10.

The update did cause it. So what is the fix??? Went from #7 to #10, WOW, what a POS -GARBAGE!!!

I have tried every fix suggestion for the errors mssgs/hangups/problems encountered after a win 10 free upgrade(hosed my machine so bad for 3 days that I had to revert back to #7, only to find it screwed up my win 7 original program something GOD-AWFUL!!!

In the past I have scrapped almost everything made by HP (3 printers) all bought brand new!

Am seriously thinking about scrapping all M/S stuff too! Apple/Mac/etc. cannot be ANY worse!!!
