I have windows 8.1 and when I go to my apps i see an "x" at the bottom right hand corner. I already tried the whole uninstalling and installing again. But it won't even install at all i just get another errror code for it 0x80070002. As for the updating apps i get 0x8000000e. I've been looking around to try and solve my problem but i can't find anything for the 0x8000000e issue and I dont know what really to do. So i hope someone can help me. Thanks.

I was getting error code 0x03F8001 on Microsoft Mahjong and Taptiles. I tried uninstalling Taptiles and got response it couldn't do it...error code 0x8000000e. It finally did uninstall but when I tried to reinstall it wouldn't and gave same error code.

I'm 65 and techno stupid. I tried the virtual agent, kept searching support, answers, etc, etc. Finally came across your link to the Windows Store Diagnostic App. Downloaded, found it (amazing for me) and ran it.

Taptiles reinstalled no problem and both games played perfectly.

    Many, many thanks

I have 2 HD's in my Laptop. I moved Netflix, Minecraft, Spotify Etc. from my SSHD to my HDD. No problems there. My HDD was wiped out, and after replacing the HDD I am unable to install the missing apps because Windows thinks the software is still installed. I can't uninstall because the software isn't there. 0x80242020 and 0x8000000e errors for all the apps that have gone missing.
