I upgraded to the window 10 tech preview from windows 7 and now my mouse and keyboard dont work once the os loads up and brings me to the sign in screen. I cant even roll back to windows 7 now because I have no mouse input except for when the bios splash screen is showing. Any help would be amazing thank you.

I have the same problem updating from windows 8.1 to build 9926.

I am using a wireless USB mouse and keyboard from Microsoft.

It says model 1028 on the bottom of the dongle.

Install seems to work perfectly until the sign in screen appears after the final boot.

At this point mouse and keyboard are dead.

When I restore 8.1 using Acronis image copy all is well again.

I understand this is beta code but would like to know how to find out when the next build is available so that I can try again??

Thanks, did you try the device connected to all the controllers (before rolling back)? I just want to eliminate the possibility that it was one of the controllers not working.

May be, I can't say for sure. Recently I made clean Windows 10 install and all works perfectly.

Same problem after upgrading to Windows 10 insider preview, before I had windows 8.1 pro x64. I have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. Came up with a solution - power off your pc. Then disconnect your keyboard and mouse. If its a wireless then unplug the wireless key, wired then unplug the usb/ps2 cable. Now power on your pc and wait till login screen. Again power off your pc by pushing the power button. Now connect the keyboard and mouse. Power on your pc and it will detect now. Atleast worked for me.
