I have this error on startup with window script host dialogue  C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\MICROSOFT\tmp7D6.tmp.js. Also due to this my edge is not working and no apps associated with windows 10. Unable to use any app because microsoft edge is not working. Please help.

Did you check your registry entries to see if there is a script starting up?

    Start > Regedit.exe

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

also look in the startup folder:

Click Start > Type Run, hit enter then type Shell:Startup

check the folder for any scripts.

Also I would check the task scheduler to see if anything else is running at startup.
