Why is my Network Status Not Connected even though i am able to surf via Google Chrome.

But the Windows updateXbox App and other Windows Apps thinks i am not connected.

I've tried resetting, updating and rolling back my network adapter but it didn't work.

And all this started after installing the latest Windows 10 October update.

Yes i am using PPPoE Broadband Connection.

**Automatically download updates even on consumption connections.**There is no such option available in the Windows Update>Advanced Option.

But before this update i didn't had to set any of these option.

In the screenshot you sent, I see that the option I indicated to you is there. It's the second option, look better.

Do you use Microsoft or third-party firewall / antivirus?

Go to Windows Update, make sure all updates are installed.

Then type in the browser www.microsoft.com let me know if the site is reachable.
