Did you ever resolve the issue, having the exact same problem may 2021 update installed fine but after that 06 and now 07 say they are not required/applicable in wsus. Even though i know for a fact that my 800 clients do need the update and are reporting just fine to wsus and when i manually download the msu and install it on the client it also installs without a hitch and i have no clue what to do. Even installed a clean wsus server and clean client but they all just go up to update 05 and then in stops. When i go for windows update online i get the upgrade to 20h2 instead of the monthly update. (we are upgrading slowly to 20h2 using a new image with sccm but i need to keep my older clienst up to date in the meantime. So in short, clients talk to wsus just fine, install approved updates until month 05 of 2021 and then they just report 06 and 07 updates as not needed/applicable while they are needed...and applicable.
WSUS not show updates to install
Hi,
I have configured WSUS, in Products I have checked "Windows 10" and my Windows Servers 2012, 2016, 2019.
Now I see that on WSUS page neither critical nor security updates are available,
when I click on client computer check updates then I have System is Up to date.
But when I click check updates in Windows Update Online, then computer start to download new security patches.
Second example:
Windows 2012 R2 not connected to WSUS, report now that two security patches are ready to download:
Windows Server 2012 R2 connected to WSUS do not have any updates available:
