Cannot install Fresco Logic USB Display Driver

Hello community,

I have bought a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter but I couldn't install the latest driver FL2000-2.1.34054.0.exe. (OS: win10 and PC: Asus X751L).

I get the following error "FLUSBVGA.x64.msi not found". Please see the picture attached.

Could you please help me ? Thanks in advance.

    Yes, it means there are missing installation components in the file system and the removal of the tray icon for the previous driver cannot be removed by the new driver package.

    Starting in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products perform a search for flvga_tray. Delete the host key that contains the entry in any instances you find.

    Alright! Thank you very much anyway !

    After running appwiz.cpl, I couldn't locate the Fresco Logic package so I assume it has been uninstalled. But when I run the installer for the newer driver again I still get the error: flvga_tray.exe not marked for installation.

    Do you know what this error means ? Thank you !

    This has solved my problem. Thank you so much !!

    Starting in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE I searched "Fresco" or "flvga_tray" and deleted the key hosting them. I repeated the process untill no related data is found when searching. Then run the installer again.
