I have a new laptop with Windows 11 Pro installed on it.

I have noticed that I cannot run almost any .exe file within the Command Prompt, Terminal nor PowerShell to execute.

It doesn't give me any output at all.

See the screenshot:

my PATH variables looks ok:

I have tried everything to get any output, but nothing is working...

System is running Win11 23H2

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm Microsoft user like you.

There is no need to set path variable.

I download adb platform tools from my Windows 11 computer and it is working.

In your case please try to download again adb platform tools of any other different version then check it again.

I have attached screenshot for your reference.

In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try our best to resolve your issue.

    Best Regards,

    Prakash

Yes, I've already tried it downloading and installing it over and over again, even from different sources.

The results are the same. As shown in the screenshot before, it does not only happen to adb, but also to other exe files.

On my old laptop, I do not have any problems with it.

    3. Run below DISM commands from elevated

    prompt.

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

I have done all above, there system couldn't find any corruption.

I've run all the commands above and even after a reboot, it still didn't solve my problem :(

Strange. It sounds like you've rebooted already. Maybe check the options for Cmd, specifically the buffer size. See:

    https://superuser.com/questions/1640320/cannot-see-output-of-command-prompt-anymore-windows-10

Normally with 23H2, your Cmd window would be a Terminal window. Even if you directly run Cmd.exe, it should open Terminal. In your case, you've got the old-school Cmd window. You can get to that window directly by running conhost.exe but you ran c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe. That should have opened like this:

It might help to go to Settings, Apps, Installed Apps, Terminal, Advanced options. You can try Repair, Reset, or Uninstall and then reinstall.
