Microphone Array missing, Internal Microphone doesn't work

Laptop is an HP UN3481 in Windows 10 64-bit, whenever I check the Recording tab on the Sounds settings, the Microphone Array is missing, only Stereo Mix appears (nothing appears even if it shows Disabled Devices) I checked the Device Manager and its not there too. I tried every method to try to fix it, I uninstalled then installed the Realtek Audio Drivers and nothing happened, I uninstalled Windows Updates because the microphone array was working fine before it updated, I tried running every audio troubleshoot but to no avail. I even reset/reformatted the laptop in hopes that the settings will go back to what it was before, it appeared when I first opened my laptop after the reset but after I restarted it was gone again. I really need my laptop for work and my daughter will use this in her classes soon so I was hoping to have a fix on this soon. Thank you.

    Hi Abram,

Thanks for your very detailed instructions! I did as you said but after doing the DISM Scan, it said no component store corruption detected in each, and when I ran the SFC Scan it said no integrity violations detected. I did everything as you said, but it still resulted into this. Thank you for the help though! Are there any more options that I can do to fix this? :"(

    Hi KeziahYbanez,

Have you tried downloading the latest driver for your microphone in the official website of your device manufacturer?

    Regards,

    Hi KeziahYbanez,

What I can suggest is that you try to perform a repair upgrade of your windows to further troubleshoot the issue.
