Have you gone Settings, Privacy, Camera?
Camera not working and getting error code
My camera all of a sudden will not work. I keep getting an error code 0xA00f4243<CameraReservedByAnotherApp> (0xc00D3704) I've tried all of the troubleshooting I could find in these forums. Device manager, checked settings in app, checked firewall settings.... I just did a recovery and it still won't work. What else can I do?

2021-05-19T22:46:28+00:00 I should also mention when I check the status of my camera in the device manager, it says it is working properly but when I try using the camera in the app as well as Zoom and Teams, it says that my camera is currently being used by another app and I should close it. But I do not know what app is using it.

2021-05-19T23:04:39+00:00 Hi RachaelEbeling-
I'm Kevin B. Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. I do apologize for the inconvenience, let me help you sort things out.
Are you using external camera or build in camera on your laptop?
When does the issue happened ?
Kindly go to settings > apps > apps and features > look for camera > click on it and click advance options > reset camera app.
If the issue persist kindly uninstall and re install camera app.
Open powershell (admin).
Copy and paste this command:
Get-AppxPackage *windowscamera* | Remove-AppxPackage
Hit enter and once its done close the powershell.
Open your Windows Store and search for camera to install camera app.
See if it is working. Please do let me know what will happen. Hope this will help and have a blessed day!
Thanks.

2021-05-19T23:58:41+00:00 Thank you for your reply! I went to settings to reset the app but it did not work. I am currently trying to uninstall and reinstall as you suggested, but it's not allowing me to click on the uninstall button. The button is there but it is not active. I went into the Microsoft app store to try there but there is not an uninstall option.
