i followed your steps and everything went just as described but the game still sadly fails to launch.
exception access violation
so whenever i try to launch borderlands 3 on my pc i get the exception access violation 0x0000000000000418. it used to work normally but it started giving me the error about 3 days ago. i couldn't find a fix online and am very frustrated. i also tried re-installing the game multiple times and it did not fix it. if anyone has had the same issue and has found a fix i would like to hear about it. thank you

2021-08-11T14:51:48+00:00 Thank you again for the feedback. It is very important to ensure that all available updates for Windows are installed. To do this go to Start > Settings > Update and Security > Check for updates.
Apply all available updates.
On that same screen, you will see "Show optional updates", in this option you can mark optional driver updates, as the system is showing this instability, updating these drivers can help too.
