Windows 10 Disable maximum path limitation

I wanted to disable the path limitation because I need it for my projects for a better organization, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried to disable it from Registry and from Group Policy by setting LongPathsEnabled to 1, and by enabling "Enable Win32 longs paths", but even after changing those and restarting my computer, I still get this error when the path is over 260.

Is there something else that I'm missing to disable the maximum path limit?

    Hi Valentin,

My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.

Seems this is message not from Windows but from some program. Please check, if this program supports very long paths. Very long paths should be not only enabled in Windows but should be supported by application too.

That message actually is from Windows, it is a test folder with subfolders that has in total 247 characters (I know it has more characters but some of them are reserved and not show up), and that error is when I'm trying to make a new folder in the last one.

    E:\1111111111\1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111\1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111\1111111111111111111111111111111

What command did you use to create a folder?

No command at all, only used the context menu to create each folder and to create the last one but failed.

    Hi, this is Mazen.

If editing the registry did not work, try editing the registry using a file. The first one just sets the LongPathEnabled value to 1, The second one just sets it back to 0.

Try the following and see if it works or not.
