What you can try to do is to repair your Windows system but the error code indicates a hardware problem.
Persistent NVIDIA GPU Issue with Code 43 on Windows 11
Despite the GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q Design) being recognized in the BIOS and listed in Device Manager, it does not appear in Task Manager. As a result, my system defaults to using the integrated Intel(R) UHD Graphics.
In Device Manager, next to the driver, a Code 43 error is reported with the message 'The device has reported a problem and has been stopped.' Additionally, the NVIDIA Control Panel does not launch.
Here's a brief summary of the steps I've already attempted, unfortunately without success:
- Complete uninstallation of NVIDIA drivers in Safe Mode
- Updating drivers directly from NVIDIA's website
- Installing drivers through NVIDIA GeForce Experience
- Reinstalling the NVIDIA Control Panel
- Restarting NVIDIA Display Container LS from Services
I've noticed that my issue mirrors one discussed in a previous thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/nvidia-control-panel-is-not-opening-gpu-driver-is/806a0e62-384b-4d1c-9386-8900c2a2ce14
I believe this is not a hardware problem.
UPDATE: The issue has been resolved and it was a hardware issue.

2025-01-04T21:13:48+00:00 I don't play games on my PC, and it turned out that the card was faulty.
PC manufacturer sent a new card, having tested the old one and confirmed the fault.
Best wishes
Nick

2024-10-20T23:35:14+00:00 I had the same problem with a Dell XPS 8960 with a GeForce RTX 4060. After several hours of troubleshooting on my own, I contacted Dell support and was advised to load the BIOS defaults. This resolved the problem. Good luck.
Update posting 1/6/25. Dell issued a BIOS update shortly after I contacted them in October of 2024. The system has been stable ever since.
