Updates failed with no error code.

So I I usually update my Pc every 3 weeks, came for my usual updates downloaded the anti defender updates with no problem, but my windows cumulative updates didn’t go through. But I get no error codes anyone has a clue?

    Thank you for the screenshot, it seems that preview update is blocking the October 10 cumulative update,

    Try downloading the offline installer for the October 10th KB5031354 X64bit version from the Microsoft Catalog and use that to install the October update:

    I did what you suggested. Got the same message about the update preview even after clicking x on it and restarting PC. Didn’t get the option to check for updates, instead it was “retry all”

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    That update in your screenshot is a preview update from September that has been superseded by the October 10 monthly update, that optional preview update does not need to be installed.

    Click the X to the right of that update to remove it from the list, then restart your PC and click the option to check for updates, what update(s) appear in the list?
