AMD and Task Manager

I have 2 PC's - 1 running AMD,1 running Intel.Both predominately run the same Distributed Computing.

My Intel m/c shows on Task Manager 100% cpu usage.

My AMD m/c (AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor 3.85 GHz) shows Task Manager 28-40% cpu usage.

However if I load the Open Hardware Monitor prog it shows all processors running at 100% so does anyone have an explanation as to why the discrepancy between the 2?

Thank you for your time.

    Hello Sumit,

Sorry for the delay but it's been a ****/end in the UK.

First, you are right - something is wrong.

There is no overclocking on either the Intel nor the AMD PC's

Both m/c's are up to date with all updates.

    Attached is MSI's Monitor.Good luck.

Here's another monitor showing all cores at 100%.

Thank you. More digging needed. I'll research about this more.

    Right-click Start>Run.

Type in msinfo32 and press enter.

Take a screenshot of the System Summary window and post it in the next reply.

Please update BIOS to 7C37vHJ and see if it resolves the issue.
