If you are running Eset antivirus, try turning off keyboard protection or uninstalling the software.
Problem with Unicode Typing
Hello,
I recently installed Windows 11 on my PC. I installed a software called "Avro" which allows me to write in my native language, Bangla. It is a free Unicode and ANSI compliant Bengali keyboard interface for Windows. The problem is that when I try to write something in Bangla, it types the wrong letter. Suppose I want to write "আমার সোনার বাংলা" , it types "।/১২ ৩৳৫৬৭ ৮৯০-=ক" which is totally irrelevant. I am facing the issue only in my browser (Edge, Chrome) and not in other Windows programs like Notepad, MS Word, Excel, etc.
I tried changing my browser's font to any Unicode font, but it didn't work. My default keyboard layout is English (United States). I also tried changing my keyboard layout but faced the same issue. I am using Windows 11 on my laptop too, but I didn't face this issue. I tried to copy all the keyboard layout, font settings, and language settings from the laptop, but it didn't work. I used many similar programs for Bangla typing, including "Bijoy" keyboard, which is also a popular Bangla typing software, and faced the same issue.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

2023-03-18T09:51:23+00:00 Hello Rezaye,
Good to see you in Microsoft Community.
Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version? You can check it by pressing the Win key + R key, and typing "winver", then press Enter, please take a screenshot/photo of it, and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.
You mentioned that you could not type properly just only in the browser, did that only happen on a particular webpage or also in the browser address bar?
- If it's a particular website, maybe you can clear that website's browser cache and try typing again.
Or open the webpage in InPrivate mode and try typing again. Visit Browse InPrivate in Microsoft Edge - Microsoft Support for more details.
- If this happened in any web page, including the browser address bar, try the steps below. Check the language settings in your browser: Make sure that your browser's language settings are set to Bangla. In Edge, go to Settings > Languages and make sure Bangla is added to the list of languages.
If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

2023-03-18T19:14:09+00:00 Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I followed all the instructions you mentioned, but I am still facing the same issue.I am facing the issue in all of my browsers. Like I cannot type Bangla properly on my address bar for searching anything in Bangla. Also on any other website like Facebook, Google Docs, YouTube, etc. I can write Bangla properly in any Windows app like Notepad, MS Word, Excel, etc. without any problem. I reverted back to Windows 10 to check whether it fixed the issue, but the problem still exists. I don't think it's my keyboard's fault, because I tried this keyboard on my other devices. Again, I am facing this issue only for Bangla typing, not in English. I hope you understand the problem.
Current Windows Version:
My language setting (All default setting, using this same setting in my laptop without any issue)
