Files not seen in Program Files (x86) folder

I have a problem similar to a one already described here in a previous question (link). I have installed a software called RothC (downloadable from this link) on Windows 11 Pro version 22H2. The program is installed in a directory under Program Files (x86) folder, and it saves its results in a subfolder. But when I access the folder using Windows Exporer, or using the command prompt using "dir" command, I don't see any of the new files that I see through the interface of the system. I tried all the options in View Settings in Windows Explorer, but nothing worked.

Hi Omer, you will find your files saved to:

    C:\Users[your username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\c_mod\landman

    Hi Omer,

The only possible explanation for this is they are using some .dat format that is not recognized by Windows, possible a Linux file format

The files are generated by the software itself, and they suppose to be in the same format of the files that do appear in the Explorer (which are coming with the software itself). The format of the dat files that do appear in the Explorer are just text files with numbers and strings...

    Hi Omer,

The best option would be to contact the developers of RothC on their forum and ask them why you cannot find the files in File Explorer, they are doing something very strange with their software that is causing those files not to be recognized by File Explorer.
