In my case, Chrome Edge and Firefox all become unusable. Only Opera survive~

Opera is the only browser I can use now. Everything else has become unusable

Tried all of these and it did not work.

I could not do #5, since my chrome does not have the "performance" tab in the settings menu anymore. Not sure what that is about. I had that tab up until a few days ago.

Can confirm that efficiency mode bug happens on Edge too, not just Chrome in my case.... although I only feel the lagginess when using resource-intensive websites

Only Brave Browser doesn't get cursed with Efficiency Mode bug... I wonder why. Please fix this bug Microsoft!

    Some context:

    Chrome

    MS Edge

    Brave Browser

And yes, I have tried fixes mentioned by the original poster but no luck.... that leaf icon returns after few seconds of disabling the mode
