I prefer to keep my mouse scroll set to 3 lines in my windows 10 desktop. But the system randomly increases it to something like 11 or 19. I bring it back to 3. But it does not stay more than a few hours. Please help.

This is what Windows does:

I change it back to 3:

My name is Ru. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

You can do the same change Via Control Panel using the following guide.

Click Start then type Control Panel to access the control panel.

At the top right corner under View by: change that to Small icons.

Click on "Mouse" and a small dialog box will appear.

Under the "Wheel" tab > Vertical Scrolling > Set number of lines (3) from the "The following number of lines at a time" drop down.

    Hope this helps

I did that a few times as well. But the setting does not remain the same. It keeps changing.

Okay, can you tell me your device model and the brand? Are you using an external mouse? if so the model as well.

I'm using a custom made PC (AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Eight-Core Processor, 3.20 GHz, 16 GB RAM) with Windows 10 Pro. It's an external trackball (Logitech M570). I also have a Kensington orbit trackball with scroll wheel connected to the PC for my left-hand, which I use occasionally.

Are you able to download the firmware for your Logitech using the following URL?
