Thanks for the reply yesterday. I did reboot in safe mode but couldn't find the driver. Not sure I can find it today with normal log on actually. How do I get system permission to rename or delete the usb driver when I find it. Can I assume I don't need permission in safe mode? Thanks again for your help.
outdated driver usb2ser.sys.
I can't turn on core isolation due to outdated driver usb2ser.sys. This is a Windows 7 driver and no update is available. How do I delete a system file/driver?

2021-10-21T20:39:45+00:00 I've been fooling with this thing for hours. It doesn't show up in the normal view even with hidden checked. I have to do a search and I've got it saved and just hope I can get back to it in safe mode but I'll give it a try. Thanks again for the help.
