Vedo che non è stata ancora trovata una soluzione. Per lavoro registro tracce audio con il mio nuovo pc Acer ma i livelli sono bassissimi.
Microphone Array driver is not updated in Windows 11, making the mic silent
My laptop is Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 7, which has a built-in microphone. The microphone is Microphone Array (Intel Smart Sound Technology (Intel SST)) with driver version 10.0.22000.1 (2021-06-05). It works well in Windows 10.
After upgrading to Windows 11, the microphone takes almost no sound input: not working to me.
In the Sound test section of the microphone show the input volume is only 4%:
This issue has been reported in Lenovo community, but the experts said that it's Microsoft driver, not Lenovo's:

Please help!

2022-08-18T16:44:06+00:00 I have a somewhat similar problem with a Lenovo X1 Extreme. The microphone array driver disappears. I run troubleshooter, which "fixes" it, saying it was disabled. Sound comes back at about 4%., and it says for use with apps "don't allow". When I change to "allow", the driver disappears and I go through the same process again. I have spent hours trying to get Microsoft support, and it appears they want me to spend $499 just to speak to someone. I believe this problem appeared sometime in June, possibly with an upgrade as I had been able to use Zoom, etc. prior to that time.
I have run Lenovo update and have automatic Windows update.

Further System > Sound > Properties for Microphone Array shows a different version of the Microphone Array

In your screenshot, click update driver, click browse my computer for drivers, click let me pick from a list of drivers, click 6.0.9354.1 driver.

2022-08-18T18:47:42+00:00 Thanks, but it doesn't help. Device Manager just gets me back to the 2021 driver. Even stranger, when I click on driver details, it says no driver is required or loaded for this device.
