I need to delete an account from authenticator app. I have searched online, including youtube. A couple different ways were shown but none of them worked the way they showed or described. How can I delete an account from authenticator?

Some of the 'tiles' are different (look like a hanging ID tag) and nothing happens when I tap on them.

I find Microsoft's attitude very sad about the (backup) of switches on MS AUTH and the creation of the tool.

1- If you log (without clicking the other button) before the login and activate backup of the cloud (you lose your entire previous account). They do this purpose. It induces us to the grotesque error of so stupid usability.

2- Simple, they do this in this way very objective. It has no previous backup history. Don't ask if you will replace the previous backup. Over-range without the least security with your data.

And they never worried about offering backup management to avoid this kind of problem. These data occupy an absurdly small space. And they never mattered this detail, because the goal is explicitly another. Any company legitimates, resolute, would have done the least so as not to lose data important in this way.

3- There can be no 2 types of login (normal login and login to recover backup) alone already induces thousands of person to lose the previous backup in a totally direct, wandering and dangerous way, without protection and safety.

4- Login for security, obviously, as we all already know, has to be (unique). Microsoft Auth has 2 buttons to log in. Look how absurd. Only within the unique login that should start any type of setup. Example, if you want to recover the previous data? You have to stay inside the unique login. And not out.

4.1At activate the backup, should warn that there is already the previous backup at least. Any security company, even a child would know that. But Microsoft Auth doesn't warn. He overwhelms immediately and erases his last data without any more and no less.

4.2 There is no resource to manage deleted histories. And they don't even ask if (you want to recover the old first case exists, or if you prefer to overwhelm). This question is already a security question to avoid all these problems.

So, it is explicit they do the way it is precisely, to be losing keys. Realment I don't understand why they do it. If they do, because it has some purpose and this goal is totally opposite security. As a company of this size, does it create such a dangerous item? Only explanation of this is (planned intention)

A basic backup management system should be mandatory, giving the user the responsibility of managing, with history, previous backup, with at least 3 records.

    6- I lost 4x my data. And I clicked recover, (didn't recover any). 2x

As if the bill was never existed.
I lost more than 40 keys and had a lot of headaches because many sites had no resources for losing keys.

I lost accounts of several and account of the founding of the Github I had, because the Github of (Microsoft) does not accept to recover data without the key (lost). All planned and very wrong.
And they do not respond to emails, do not assume the problem and protect themselves by legal contracts and make us silly.

7- This for me becomes criminal what Microsoft does to users. Because in addition to inducing them to intentional error, it damages users who lose the keys, and we are talking about a (security) key manager, which makes users lose their keys.

8- And we know that only 1% seek help after such a disaster in communities and the outraged source complains. The other 99% remains in silence.
So the amount of users who were injured by Microsoft Auth and lost their keys is very large.

9- For the sake of God microsfot, (delete this application) or redo it as soon as possible. I already sent a copy of this post to various places. (NOTE) have already appailed my post on microsfot auth 4x.
