    Hi Cherry,

I have a similar problem, and above you said:

"Torefresh your inbox in Outlook.com interface, you only need to click the refresh button (rounded arrow) across the "Folders" on the left side of your mailbox page."

I'm afraid there is no such Refresh button in my outloook.com on web (accessed through Google Chrome browser). See the screenshot below. The only button across the "Folders" on the left side is a "+" button for creating new folders (not visible in the below screenshot because it appears only when mouse is over). However the Refresh button doesn't exist! And it's very very frustrating ...

I used to have the Refresh button and relied on it massively in hotmail.com, before the migration last month to outlook.com. Am I missing something? is there a setting or something else that is not enabled?

I have seen above the suggestion to refresh the web page. Again, I'm afraid this is not what I need. I used the Refresh button before to make sure that emails I delete on the web or sent are immediately processed and sync'd to my account so other devices (like my mobile) would see these changes faster. Currently I delete 10 emails in outlook web and because I don't have the Refresh button I see them on my mobile for pretty long time, i.e. minutes. I also used the Refresh button to check for new emails, reloading the whole web page is a bit more involved and not always desirable, as I might be in the middle of reading an email or even editing one.

    Thanks

Under the tab SEND / RECEIVE of the desktop client there is a button: Update Folder.

You could even add it as a small icon in the upper left corner of your Outlook interface,

this is done by clicking on the small drop down menu and Customize Quick Access Toolbar

    Hi Jeff125,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community forum.

I understand that you are looking for a button/option to refresh your Outlook inbox. It also appears that you want to add contacts on your Safe Senders list.

Before we proceed with the troubleshooting steps, I would like to verify if you are referring to your Outlook.com interface or Outlook mail client.

To refresh your inbox in Outlook.com interface, you only need to click the refresh button (rounded arrow) across the "Folders" on the left side of your mailbox page.

To Addan **** email address to your Safe senders list

    1. From the Outlook.com More mail setting screen under Preventing junk email, click Safe and blocked senders.
    2. Click Safe Senders.
    3. In the text box, type in the email address or domain you’d like to always receive email from, and then click Add to list >>.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you,

    Cherry
