    Hi Cherry,

I have a similar problem, and above you said:

"Torefresh your inbox in Outlook.com interface, you only need to click the refresh button (rounded arrow) across the "Folders" on the left side of your mailbox page."

I'm afraid there is no such Refresh button in my outloook.com on web (accessed through Google Chrome browser). See the screenshot below. The only button across the "Folders" on the left side is a "+" button for creating new folders (not visible in the below screenshot because it appears only when mouse is over). However the Refresh button doesn't exist! And it's very very frustrating ...

I used to have the Refresh button and relied on it massively in hotmail.com, before the migration last month to outlook.com. Am I missing something? is there a setting or something else that is not enabled?

I have seen above the suggestion to refresh the web page. Again, I'm afraid this is not what I need. I used the Refresh button before to make sure that emails I delete on the web or sent are immediately processed and sync'd to my account so other devices (like my mobile) would see these changes faster. Currently I delete 10 emails in outlook web and because I don't have the Refresh button I see them on my mobile for pretty long time, i.e. minutes. I also used the Refresh button to check for new emails, reloading the whole web page is a bit more involved and not always desirable, as I might be in the middle of reading an email or even editing one.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Before we start troubleshooting the issue, we require more information to assist you better.

    1. How exactly are you accessing your Email account? Is it through a web browser, Microsoft Office or any other Mail Client?
    2. Which arrow are you referring to? Could you please describe the issue you are facing?
    3. Is your Email account updated to Outlook Mail?

Outlook Mail is the new updated version of Outlook.com. When you sign in to your Email account using any web browser, you shall see Outlook Mail written on the top left corner of the page. If Outlook Mail is present this indicates that your Email account is updated to Outlook Mail.

If you are accessing your Email account through a web browser, then you may simple press F5 key which shall refresh the web page as well.

Hope it helps. Do let us know the status of the issue. For any further information, feel free to contact us.

    Thank you.

Hi Cherry - I do not have a rounded arrow across Folders on the LHS of my mailbow page so this is no help - I am talking about hotmail.

I have the very same issue and it has really pissed me off! and the best thing about it is the update for me only happened a day ago, I don't know how you lasted a month!

Microsoft please address this ASAP as I am Mac, Chrome Browser and using the new updated Outlook.com and my keyboard shortcuts to refresh the page including F5 do NOT work, so I need to manually goto the refresh button on the browser and refresh that way which takes WAY too long as Hotmail.com was soo much quicker!
