    Hi Cherry,

I have a similar problem, and above you said:

"Torefresh your inbox in Outlook.com interface, you only need to click the refresh button (rounded arrow) across the "Folders" on the left side of your mailbox page."

I'm afraid there is no such Refresh button in my outloook.com on web (accessed through Google Chrome browser). See the screenshot below. The only button across the "Folders" on the left side is a "+" button for creating new folders (not visible in the below screenshot because it appears only when mouse is over). However the Refresh button doesn't exist! And it's very very frustrating ...

I used to have the Refresh button and relied on it massively in hotmail.com, before the migration last month to outlook.com. Am I missing something? is there a setting or something else that is not enabled?

I have seen above the suggestion to refresh the web page. Again, I'm afraid this is not what I need. I used the Refresh button before to make sure that emails I delete on the web or sent are immediately processed and sync'd to my account so other devices (like my mobile) would see these changes faster. Currently I delete 10 emails in outlook web and because I don't have the Refresh button I see them on my mobile for pretty long time, i.e. minutes. I also used the Refresh button to check for new emails, reloading the whole web page is a bit more involved and not always desirable, as I might be in the middle of reading an email or even editing one.

    Thanks

To refresh your inbox in Outlook, do this:

**Open Outlook > Go to the tab send/receive > Click send/receive all maps >**You refreshed your inbox

I completely agree to the opinion that there should be an easier way to refresh your inbox, and beleive it or not, there is. Here's what you should do:

Open Outlook > Go to the tab send/receive > Click with your right mouse button on send/receive all maps > select add to quick access toolbar> now you have a refresh button on the left-top-corner of your screen you can click whenever you want without switching tabs.

And, things get better, there even an easier way, just click on the F9 button on your keyboard. If you still didn't received an e-mail in your inbox, I'm afraid nobody tried to send you an e-mail. Sorry.

I also do not see the 'refresh' arrow on the new and "improved" outlook.com email screen... when attempting to log onto outlook.com, this is the screen that i was taken to automatically, and i find absolutely no way to refresh the inbox to verify deletes and/or moves.... ??????????????

JopSwart, you're a little off-base here. The original poster was asking about Outlook.com, the web-based mail service. You're describing Office Outlook, which is unrelated except in name.

Agreed Brian, this topic is about outlook.com (the web email), not the desktop Office Outlook application.

Still very frustrating they removed the Refresh button :( wondering what's the reason ... or is just a bug?
